1. One of these days, I’m going to be the one who has to wake my boys up on the weekends {and not the other way around}, and it’s going to be absolutely magical.
2. For the second year in a row, my BFF and I are booking a hotel and spa day, and leaving our families to fend for themselves for a night to celebrate our birthdays. We live over 2 hours from each other, and when we do get together it usually involves all four of our boys – so hardly relaxing. SO EXCITED. Although since she’s KTFU up {again} there will be no drunken wine fest. She’s such a party-pooper.
3. As a follow up – I turn 31 on Wednesday. THIRTY ONE. I had a great time turning thirty. Thirty one seems a little, older though. I don’t know.
4. The weather here in the DFW this past weekend was AMAZING. 60s first thing in the morning, 70s by lunch – AMAZING. I absolutely can not wait for the real day {as I know we’ll be back into the 90s this week} that Fall arrives.
5. Would someone please explain to me how the clothing in this house seems to multiply? I feel like all I do is get RID of clothes, and yet somehow at the end of the week I have 14,000 loads of laundry to wash/dry/fold.
6. I was given one of THESE at BlogHer, and it’s pretty much the coolest thing ever. The Mouse loves using it to get his own milk. Pretty sure I need about three more of these suckers.
7. I am so excited for Christmas and THIS FILM it’s not even funny. I watch the trailer pretty much once a day. Anne Hathaway rocks my socks, BTW.
8. If you are a stranger, I would prefer if you would not touch my children. This includes head patting {they’re not puppies}. It’s just weird to walk by someone random in the grocery store and have them start patting your kid’s heads.
9. Everyone has been posting about their college football teams this weekend. GO TEAM GO! YAY {insert awesome mascot here}! Me? I’m like – crap, I really should have gone to a school with a decent football team. Or a mascot.
10. I think I’m going to have to succumb to a Power Rangers Halloween costume this year. Someone shoot me now.
Yes to this great Texas weather! I need it to go ahead and be fall now so I can get those boots (that we have all pinned) and scarves out.
We are the “Golden Tornadoes”. Our mascot looks like a giant Twinkie.
