I struggle sometimes to think of, or come up with, things to blog about. I start typing something, and then I think, ‘That’s boring. Who the hell is going to want to read that?’
… and then I remember that most days, I don’t have especially deep thoughts to post about on here. Most days, I talk about my boys and what they’re doing. And if you’re particularly lucky, I’ll have semi-good photos of their cuteness to post.

I know I keep whining about the heat … but for the love of my sanity, ENOUGH ALREADY with the 100* + temps! It’s only the beginning of August, and I can’t take it anymore. I’m so tired of coming home in the evenings and having to put my kid in front of the TV. I’m tired of spending the weekend cutting construction paper and putting puzzles together. I want to go to the park, and help the Mouse ride his trike out front!
Okay, I’ll stop with the complaining. We still have fun … we’re just tired of being cooped up.
Nomnomnom.
So until the weather cools down to a brisk 87*, we’ll continue to stay cool and enjoy the monotonous hum of our air conditioner.

Our heat isn’t as extreme as yours, but we’ve been forced inside for the majority of the summer as well and it blows. I am so looking forward to fall!!

UGH I so feel you. The heat index here today is 110. I can’t wait to take James to the park hopefully next month now that he can walk. DAMN heat. Go away summer, I hate you.
