Tottums got her mojo back, people. She got herself a new {to her} camera! I was super excited that right about the time I was wanting to upgrade my camera, so was my friend Jill over at Baby Rabies {although she’s on an entirely different level – I hear she got herself something super cool!}. So yesterday I bought her Canon T2i, and when I got home, immediately threw both of the boys out back to play around with it. The results:
I’m trying to be good, and absolutely MAKE myself shoot on manual {which is hard to do when you’re holding a brand new camera – remember, my old one was a Nikon}, but I think it went okay for my first go at it … even though now that I’m seeing them on the screen, I obviously had my ISO wayyyyyy up. Oh well, so excited to have a real DSLR back in my hands!
Yay! The photos look great. I’m STILL trying to figure out lighting and focus with my new camera – I feel like I’m having to re-learn a lot of things and get to know the quirks of this one.

The swing photo with the sun flare? Amazing. I love it! I have the T2i to and love it. It’s not hard at all to learn the manual settings. I can’t wait to see your awesome photos!
That light one – beautiful! I’d love a fancy camera, but I’d break or lose it within a week. It’s kinda like I’m four that way.

@simplystavish It’s so funny you ask this – I never had, until I took these, lol! I didn’t even realize I was shooting in RAW until I went to upload them. I am completely reteaching myself everything!
