Pinterest WINS.

I’ve been doing a lot of Pinteresting lately. {I know, SHOCKER} But here’s the kicker, I’ve actually been DOING these pins {I know, another SHOCKER}. So, in lieu of me posting another gajillion photos of my kids or bitching whining about how my almost 4 YO refuses to eat anything other than fruit cups lately … I thought I might share a couple that have actually worked out well for me.

My most favorite?

LOVED this pin – which incidentally, I originally found HERE <-- super cute little blog!

I tested these out last weekend ... I baked 2 dozen eggs to color for Easter. It was SUPER easy, and my eggs came out BEAUTIFUL. None of them cracked {but I opened one up just to see how they cooked - see photo above}. I will never boil an egg again, if I can help it.

So here's what you do:

Put your eggs in individual muffin tin sheets so they don't roll around.
Bake on 325* for 30 min. {this is what was recommended on the original site, and worked perfectly for me!}
Take 'em out of the oven. DON'T FREAK OUT when they come out with brown spots - totally normal.

Immediately move eggs {with tongs – they’re hot, duh} to pot of cold water so they’ll stop cooking. The spots will come off automatically in the water!
Crack open and enjoy!

And yes, I realize that some might find this more work then sticking them in some boiling water … but for me? So. Much. Easier. I never knew how long to leave them in there. Do I wait until water is boiling to stick them in? And they ALWAYS cracked!

Like I said, I will bake eggs forever now, lol.

Next favorite pin?

A friend of mine made this for the baby shower we hosted a few weeks ago and it was FABULOUS. I made it as a side for Easter as well? Total hit. I added mushrooms to mine though – YUM! {also, if the photo for this isn’t showing up, blame Pinterest, not me!}

    I totally used the punch recipe you served at the baby shower at Noah’s first birthday party this past weekend. It was soooo yummy! Thanks for sharing that one. Gonna have to try the baked eggs. Looks so much easier!
