Last Friday the husband took the Mouse to a local water park … just the two of them. They dropped the Froggy off with family and went on a date together . A fun-filled afternoon of swimming, water slides, and a picnic lunch.
While I was at work.
And then he proceeded to text me about how much fun they were having.
Really, dude? REALLY.
The Mouse had a blast. The husband had a blast. The Froggy was blissfully unaware.
I was sulky.
Awww, that’s so sad! I know you know this, but Mouse is so fortunate to have this time with his dad. His times with you are very special too. ::HUGS::
Right? I am so thankful to have a husband who thinks of stuff like this on his own and wants to spend time with his little boy. Momma is just jealous, lol.

Aw the down side of working, i feel your pain! But at least you have a great husband to take care of the kids!

I know the feeling! My boys have been at home with my husband for the past two weeks and I get daily photos and texts of cute things they say or do, and it makes me burn up with jealousy. I want to go to the park too! I want to go get a cupcake from our favorite bakery! I want the sleepy baby naptime snuggles! Hopefully my husband only has another couple of weeks between jobs, but I know part of him is going to miss spending so much time with our boys.
Was it a Schlitterbahn? We went to the one in New Braunfels and my 3 year old has talked about it since we got back a month ago! We are trying to find a way to again this summer too!
