The husband has officially been a SAHD for three weeks now … and I have to say, he’s really doing an awesome job. He’s got them on a schedule, he’s keeping the house clean, laundry is kind-of getting done, and he’s keeping them entertained as well. He was in total agreement with most of the comments you guys left the other day, especially the ones that mentioned ‘getting out of the house’.
The three of them are all over the place. They go see family, they go to the park, they go feed the ducks, they go see the animals at Petco, they go to Target {a lot – lol}, and every Tuesday they’ve been going to storytime at our local library. Apparently, both of the boys love it, but especially the Mouse because of the puppets and songs. The husband was telling me about their trip from this week:
Husband: So the Mouse really like story time. But there were like 15 kids, and only 3 were boys. I don’t get why there were so many girls at storytime.
Me: I dunno, that’s weird.
Husband: AND I was the only dad. All the other kids were there with their moms.
Me: Uh huh. So, did you actually talk to anyone?
Husband: Hell no. I don’t talk to people, you know that.
Me: That’s true. All those hot SAHMs and you didn’t even get any digits?
Husband: No, but I did get lucky in the stacks after the puppet show. Does that count?
Me: Awesome!
New jokes for a new lifestyle. We’re taking this thing day by day y’all. lol

lol!
Love it! I have to say that humor is the only thing that keeps us sane most of the time!
Ha! My hubby goes to story time with the boys too. He is always the only dad there.
Lol totally something my husband would say.
Ha! There are actually some dads that come to our story time, it is great! And there are mainly boys. Weird how it varies like that.
