This is a true story. As in, this actually happened. For reals.
The Mouse and I got home yesterday evening, and as we walked in I dropped all the stuff on the kitchen table and opened the back door to let the pug out. The Mouse followed him out for a second, so I ran to my bedroom to change out of my work clothes and use the bathroom.
As I sit down on the toilet I hear the Mouse come back in and slam the back door.
‘Moooooooooooom?!’
‘I’m in the bathroom kiddo.’
At this point, I close the bathroom door.
Two seconds later, the Mouse attempts to push the door open.
I say, ‘Mr. Mouse, Mommy is using the bathroom, wait for me for a second.’
WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
‘Mouse, please just wait.’
WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
::sigh::
So push open the door a crack and see my son standing there, crocodile tears running down his cheeks. He’s standing there, bottom lip poking out and the saddest look on his face EVER … holding a dandelion.
For me.
::insert worst guilty-mommy feeling EVER::
I wore that damn weed in my hair all.night.long.
Bathroom privacy is overrated anyways, right?
awwww that is so sweet. I feel your mommy pain/guilt. I’ve had similar situations happen. I’m sure he has already long forgotten about it even though you’ll remember it forever. You’re a great mommy, we can’t always be rays of sunshine 24/7

That is beyond sweet!!!
So Sweet. My little guy does the same he tells me he is looking “for yellow dandelions” and picks me one. Each and every time he sees them he has to stop in his tracks and find me a flower. I love little boys.
Too cute! He couldn’t wait to give it to you! And I’ve come to the conclusion that I won’t be able to go to the bathroom in private again for a very long time. If its not one following me in, it’s the other.
/ I guess I am missing what is so cool about the bathroom!

OMG how cute is that?!!! I have a daughter but hope one day to have a son so I have moments like this with him! So sweet
