The fifteen month post.

Last night we were out to dinner, and the waiter asked, ‘So how old is he? Two?’

And then, my heart broke into fourteen million pieces.

He is SO big, you guys. The husband was just saying the other night, ‘it’s like he jumped from 4 months old to two years old … what happened to all that time in the middle? The Mouse had all this awesome stuff in between!’ Yeah, but the Mouse didn’t have an older brother he was trying to keep up with. We caught the Froggy eating with a fork the other day. He can climb to the top of the swing set. He can literally jump into the swimming pool {into our arms} all by himself without any coaxing.

Here’s some other stuff about the Froggy right now:

15months

The Fisher Price Seahorse toy? Best $7 EVER. He cuddles that damn seahorse like the thing might stand up and walk away at any moment. When I check on him at night, he almost always has it cuddled in his arms, fast asleep. Forever I tried to get him to latch on to a cute frog lovey, but oh no, it had to be that silly seahorse.

And can I take a quick second to blow your mind?

Are you kidding me?? Look at how similar they look! I mean, crazy curly hair and sweet heart shaped face/chin aside, they even have the same expression for cripes sake! Oh man. These boys, they just slay me. I swear, come middle school, I’m installing bars on all the windows. I’ll need them to keeps the girls out, and my boys in.

Gah, I have a feeling Corbin is trying to skip being a baby, to running with his sisters. It stinks because he is the last :(

  2. Oh my gosh, he is just so adorable!
Love the comparison photo between your two boys. There is no question that they are brothers!!

  3. You do make beautiful boys!!! Everyone keeps telling me get a trim to shape up Evie’s hair, but I am too in love with her curls to do it!

  4. Liz says:

Yup. You are in trouble when they are in high school! Such cuties!

  5. Oh my word, those last 2 pictures! Crazy cute.

How adorable are your boys?! And I hear you on the seahorse. Aidan is 4 and still sleeps with his everynight, so of course I had to get one in pink for Callie.

  7. Jen says:

Too sweet. They look SO much alike. People ask if my 15 month is 2 all the time – I’m like “NO!!!! Don’t rush it!!”
