So I got bored the other day and started reading old posts of mine {don’t laugh, I have it on good authority that lot’s of other bloggers do this, so I’m not weird – I swear}. I realized as I was going back and reading posts that I totally dropped the ball on the Froggy’s ‘month posts’. My bad Froggy, my bad.
In the spirit of my laziness, I’m going to try and cram a bunch of photo comparisons of my kids into one post.
Aaaaaaaaaand GO:
I am also completely astounded at how much better my photos have gotten over the past 3 years, lol.
I’ve been saying it pretty much continuously for a year now, but the older they get, the less and less they seem to favor each other. The Froggy really is his own little dude. Also – I know I say this all.the.time – but I have NO IDEA how I ended up with two blue eyed boys. Both the husband and I each have a grandmother with blue eyes, but that’s it. Talk about recessive genes trying make a break for it!
I know they’ll hate me later in life for all the comparisons I do, but I can’t help it. If nothing else, going back and looking at all of the photos I took of the Mouse when he was little make these posts worth it for me.
Sweet baby boy.

I compare my kids (and read my old blog posts) all the time. As long as you’re not like, “this kid is so much cuter/smarter/better than my other one!”, you’re good. And if you do that, just make sure they’re out of earshot.
I too do both of this all the time! It’s hard not to. And I love looking back at old posts of #1 when he was such a baby. Especially now that he is three. I swear he turned 3 and all of a sudden had a major growth spurt. He is just looking sooo big! Both my boys have blue eyes as well, and neither I or dad do.
I’ve been so much better about Henry’s month posts, but terrible at everything else. I had a baby book, calendar, etc for Timmy. Hen? Nada.
And The Froggy is definitely his own guy, but at the same time they are most definitely brothers. Just not the clones they once were!
They’re both just adorable.
I think we all do the comparison thing. But I think the older LB gets, the more he favors his brother. That’s just me, because everyone else totally disagrees with me. And I also ask myself the same question about ending up with two blue eyed boys, but I *kinda* have the excuse of being blue eyed myself.
You’ve got a couple of sweet babies there…no matter what the age. Just precious.
