I’m sorry, what’s that you say? You say today is the Froggy’s half birthday?
::plugs ears:: LALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALA! I can’t hear you!!! LALALALALALALALALALALALALALALA!
Today my baby is six whole months old. SIX WHOLE MONTHS.
So here’s the deal Mr. Froggy: you get one more month. One more month to grow. Just enough time to learn how to completely sit up … and then that’s it. You’re cut off. NO.MORE.GROWING. ::stomp:: You hear that Froggy? That’s mom, putting her foot down.
He’s tripoding … soooooo close to a full sitting position!
So the Froggy had his 6 month doctor’s appointment this morning. He’s 17lbs 2 oz (45th %), 27″ long (75th %) … and we’re still dealing a ginormous melon as he’s coming in with a head circ. in the 91st %. What can I say, I make babies with lot’s ‘o brains.
Things the little man is doing:
Rolling. And rolling all.over.the.place. As in, The Crocodile Hunter wouldn’t survive all of these death rolls.
Starting solids. He’s partial to fruits … which is funny to me because the Mouse was partial to veggies. Kids are funny that way.
Tripoding … as seen above. OMG I can’t wait until he’s sitting completely.
Sleeping through the night (again). This development started when he started solids. One helped of solids at 6pm, bath at 7pm, 8oz bottle at 730pm = STTN. BAM.
He’s loving being able to reach for/chew on/hold toys. He loves the song ‘Apples and Bananas’ (please tell me someone else has heard of this song … the Froggy CRACKS up when I get to the ‘O’ sounds). He is quite the fan of chewing on his toes. He had his first bounce house experience this past weekend with @babyrabies Leyna … so stinkin’ adorable.
If it seems like every single photo I take of my kid is in this outfit … it’s because he is *thisclose* to outgrowing it … and I love it so much I’m trying to get as much wear in as I can!
And since we’ve made it to six whole months … let’s take a look back and see how much the Froggy has grown. I swear I won’t cry. Very much.

My sweet baby boy turned six months old on Friday, and I still haven’t shaken that “where did my tiny baby go!?!” feeling. You’re not alone!
I demand they stop growing! I cannot believe he is 6 months and Carina is almost 8 months. YIKES.

Hello! I just stumbled upon your blog, and it’s beautiful!! Only thing that outshines it is how beautiful your little boys are! I’m a mama of two boys too, and it’s a blast. Oh, and love the month shirts pics. Great idea!
