Is everyone here on Pinterest? Are you guys as obsessed with it as I am? I have a list about a mile long of crafts I want to do, recipes I want to try, and home decor I want to replicate. It’s getting a little insane … But I’m addicted, so I keep going back for more insanity.
Since I stared with this new pinning craze, I keep seeing these great photos of vinyl wall quotes/sayings/designs … And while we don’t have a huge amount of wall space left in our home (we’re art majors, we have a LOT of prints hanging up) I really wanted to do something in one of the boys’ rooms.
So I was SUPER excited when the Old Barn Rescue Company (check out their Etsy shop here) contacted me and offered to send me one of their decals to try out!
I had seen this quote on Pinterest and immediately knew I wanted to try it out … How perfect is this for a house full or art nerds?!! It looks GREAT in the Mouse’s room, and he was super excited to get to hang up all of the awesome art work he’s bringing home from preschool these days.
What’s great about Old Barn Rescue Company is that all of their designs started out as paintings on the wall, and are still all hand drawn … they’re not typing stuff out in Comic Sans and then printing it out. These are all THEIR unique designs, and I love that about them. The decals are super easy to install, and they have a plethora of colors you can choose from to match your decor and/or wall color.

I love these! I think my favorite is the alphabet one. We have two boys and are beginning to redecorate their playroom. That would look perfect! However, I’m also digging the “Live in the sunshine, swim the sea, drink the wild air” one because we live in South Florida and this is great and would help remind me to relax and enjoy life rather than stressing over silly things.

I love this giveaway! I have been thinking about it ever since I first read the post. I think if I won, I would want to get the same decal as you got, but probably in a different color. I think that is a wonderful idea to display a lot of art that my daughter brings home daily from preschool.
