Easter 2012

So, one more Easter has come and gone. It seems like we were just celebrating the Mouse’s first Easter, and now we’re on the Froggy’s second. It was a fun weekend, but man … holiday weekends just wear me OUT these days. The main reason there was no Manic Monday post yesterday? Because I fell {no literally, FELL} into bed Sunday night around 845 and was DONESKY. I’m getting old, y’all.

This is about as good as a family portrait gets these days. I’m mostly impressed no one is crying {including me}.

It’s becoming somewhat of a tradition to have Easter out at MIL’s house. She’s out on about 18 acres – which to me transfers as ‘lot’s of room for the kids to run around outside without bothering me’. There’s a swingset, a playhouse, a pool {for when it gets warmer} … Nana’s house is the shitz.

There was a special egg hunt for the ‘big’ kids.

And then one for the babies. And by ‘egg hunt’ I mean they sat around and we brought them eggs from the grass to crack open and play with.

I’m sorry, but the curls sticking out from under the hat SLAY me.

And can we talk about my niece for a second? Because she is THE most adorable thing in the entire world. Her cheeks alone make me want to nom on her all day long.
