The 2013 conference season is already in full swing, and while I’m lamenting not being present at some of the meetings that have already taken place, I am SUPER excited to announce I will be attending Blissdom ’13!
Blissdom has been on my list of ‘must attend’ conferences since I got back from BlogHer last year. Traditionally, though, Blissdom has always been in Nashville. When they announced on Twitter that the Blissdom 2013 Conference was going to be 10 minutes down the road from me in Grapevine, TX? Um … yeah. Too perfect NOT to attend. I always hear that while BlogHer might be the ‘huge’ blogging event of the year, Blissdom is more personal, less intimidating, and perhaps even more informative. I’m looking forward to concentrating on getting some good information out of the sessions, hugging the necks of some amazing e-friends, and cracking open {several} bottles of wine with some amazing roommates.
I am also proud to announce my sponsor for my trip to this year’s Blissdom, ArtKive. I’ll be writing up a specific, in-depth blog post about ArtKive’s amazing app as we get closer to the conference … but y’all? If you have small kids you MUST check this app out. I use this app every.single.day. The Mouse comes home from school, and the first thing I do is open up his backpack and whip out my phone. This little app has saved me sooooo much time/effort/drawer space I can not even explain it – and I am REALLY excited to be representing them at Blissdom this year. I’ll have a couple of events/giveaways tied around this sponsorship, so make sure you’re following both me and ArtKive on Twitter and Facebook!
Are you attending Blissdom? Let me know in the comments! Are you already using the ArtKive app? How are you liking it?

That’s awesome!! I LOVE ArtKive. I use it all the time for B’s art projects. Although I have to admit…I still can’t bring myself to throw them away after snapping the pictures. But the app is so genius. I wish I were going to Blissdom. I’ve been told that it is amazing!! Can’t wait to read about your experience.
I wish you were coming, Melissa! Maybe Chicago though!
Ooh, what a good idea is that app! I always felt guilty eventually getting rid of the masterpieces, but there’s just so much of it.
See you in Dallas!
I might just have to come hang out for the weekend….
How exciting! I can’t wait to meet you and learn more about ArtKive. See you in 27 days!
Yeah – I’m going too. Just signed up. I’ll look for you!
